What is the Kingdom of God?
(from Chapter 1 - The Kingdom)

What is God’s Kingdom? The Kingdom of God is a love story; it is the story of a King, who became the sacrifice for His people. It is the story of a Father, the perfect loving Father we are all looking for. It is the story of a Comforter and Helper who gives us the power to do what we cannot do–the power to love, the power to know truth, the power to be healed, and the power of miracles. And the most amazing miracle is that God says we are His great treasure, the apple of His eye.

The ways of King Jesus run the Kingdom of God. That is why the Kingdom is full of grace and truth. In the Kingdom, goodness and mercy abound, broken lives are healed, the bound are freed, and relationships are reconciled. Everyone freely gives, forgiveness is pleasing, the poor know how to get wealth, and sicknesses are healed. There is no fear, but peace, patience, and everlasting joy are everywhere as we will see.

Nothing can stop this all-powerful Kingdom, because nothing can stop Jesus. His enemies have no power against Him. In fact, He conquered and spoiled them; they are defeated! God’s Kingdom spans beyond time and reigns across countries, peoples, and families; it shall never end. Whenever you say the words of God, angels fulfill His Word (Psalm 103:20). When you call out to God, He comes from heaven and rescues you. He promises to fight for you, send His arrows, and scatter your foe (Psalm 18). He is right here.

The Kingdom of God is Pressed Into
(from Chapter 3 - Mysteries of The Kingdom)

To live seeing the Kingdom is to live by faith. The Kingdom of God is a faith-based Kingdom. Faith is in our spirit, not our mind. Faith is given to us by the Holy Spirit. We don’t try to have faith with our own understanding or our eyes, for these are not faith mechanisms. Faith cannot be found in natural ways. To walk by faith requires we use something other than our natural abilities. Our eyes or ears or our own understanding do not contain faith. Just think if we spent all day trying to taste with our ears. It could never be done. That is just what we do if we try to walk by faith based on what we see, or by what someone says, or in trying to understand our circumstances. It cannot be done. Faith is not like that.

As we “press into” the Kingdom of God every moment, we follow God in faith, not focusing on circumstances or what we see. Jesus did not let storms, fear, mocking, doubt, or the devil stop Him from doing the Father’s will. He walked forward doing what the Father wanted Him to do. We can too.

Faith pulls God’s grace from heaven to earth. Faith is like the lubricant on the heavenly escalator of God’s grace. It moves gifts from the King to earth for you. Every step you make in faith moves God’s grace to you. This grace can be something you have never experienced before, like a creative miracle, a check or food at your door, a new job… everything you need. Just think what God’s best plans for you are and know He is willing to help you. All you need to do is press into the Kingdom, taking and possessing what God wants to give you.

When you have a need that seems impossible, it just means that you need to know a new grace from God than you have experienced before...

There Is No Fear in God’s Love
(from Chapter 9 - He Restores My Soul)

God’s love casts out fear. If we live in fear, it is because we have not been made perfect in God’s love. 1 John 4:18 tells us:

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

You do not need to live in fear. Instead of living in fear, you can abide in God’s love and have courage (John 15:10, Joshua 1:9). Certainly, the Word of God and the Holy Spirit are able to overcome all fear in your life. Five daily keys to conquer fear are:

1. Be made perfect in God’s love. Keep God’s commandments. And abide in your Father’s everlasting love for you. (see 1 John 2:5; John 15:10; Jeremiah 31:3; Ephesians 3:16-19; Romans 8:38-39)

2. Know God is with you. God will never leave you, nor forsake you. You are in Christ and He is in you. You have been given unlimited power, unlimited love and a 100% sound mind, right now. (see Hebrews 13:5; John 14:20; 2 Timothy 1:7; Jeremiah 29:11)

3. Trust God with all your heart. You can trust God. Acknowledge Him; He will guide you. Have faith. (see Isaiah 26:3-4; Proverbs 3:5-6; Matthew 14:31)

4. Know the Lord shall preserve you from all evil. No grave trouble will overtake the righteous. By making the Lord your habitation, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. (see Psalm 91:9-10, Psalm 121:7-8, Proverbs 12:21)

5. Be strong and of good courage. God is with you wherever you go. The righteous are bold as a lion. Jesus says if you speak to your mountain, it will move. (see Joshua 1:9; Proverbs 28:1; Mark 11:23).

God Shall Supply All My Need
(from Chapter 10 - God Shall Supply All My Need)

You were created to prosper... Things are different in the Kingdom. Your job is not to provide for yourself, but to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness.

The following questions will help guide you to never lack again: Do you seek and do the Father’s will each day? Do you know His top three priorities for you today? (John 8:29, Matthew 7:21)? Do you believe God wants to reward you as you diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6)? Are you seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33)? Have you found what the Word of God promises in response to your need (Matthew 4:4, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)? Do you pray in faith (Mark 11:23-24)? As you answer “yes” to these questions, I believe you will be surprised at how much good God wants to do in your life. He has pleasure in giving; He is our Father. He will never fail you. You will reap in due season if you do not grow weary. God will meet all your needs. Just call forth what you need in Jesus’ name, and thank God for it. God does not forsake the righteous.

Delivered from the Power of Darkness
(from Chapter 8 - Power Over All Darkness)

The Bible says you are seated together in heavenly places with Christ Jesus, right now (Ephesians 2:6). You are actually looking down on your problems, reigning over all Christ’s enemies, including Satan, the world, and your flesh. In Christ, you have no problems, just His victory. Colossians 1:13 confirms God has delivered us from the power of darkness.

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love…

Since He has delivered us (past tense), we are free. We are free to rejoice in the Lord always (Philippians 4:4), and give God thanks for His continual goodness (Psalm 107:1-2). We have been translated into His Kingdom. This means if you are not free in all areas of your life, there is a reason why, and, in Christ, you have overcome it.

Jesus Bore Our Sicknesses
(from Chapter 11 - Jesus Bore Our Sicknesses)

God wants you well. In fact, He wants you to be in perfect health. There is no reason for you to be sick because Jesus bore your sicknesses. He is your healer, and you can receive all the benefits of His ransom right now.

Jesus was beaten when He was on earth in order for you to be healed. There is no sickness or ailment that Jesus did not bear. He conquered all sicknesses. By His broken body you were healed–just as by His blood your sins were forgiven. He healed every disease and every infirmity completely. Both difficult and simple sicknesses He healed. He made withered hands completely whole. He opened blind eyes. He opened the ears of the deaf. He healed the lame so they could walk. He healed fevers. And Jesus healed socially condemned lepers, freeing them of their sickness and shame.

The Bible shows us often that Jesus healed all who came to Him. For example, Matthew 12:15 tells us:

…great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.

Whoever touched the hem of His garment was healed Matthew 14:35-36 shows: And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who were sick, and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well. Just as Jesus healed all these people, He wants to heal you. There is no sickness in the Kingdom of God. There is no need for Christians to wonder if God wants to heal them, or even to pray if it is God’s will to heal them. The Bible is clear: Jesus always wants to heal everyone. He loves us. We need not question if it is His will to heal us, because it is. When He was asked, Jesus said with compassion in Mark 1:41:

…I am willing…

Jesus is willing to heal you. Do you know how important you are to Him? The Bible shows that because Jesus wants us well, He bore our sicknesses. We must accept this truth. Matthew 8:17 reads:

He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.
